Baldwin Pizzeria (142 Baldwin Road, Parsippany, New Jersey, 973-335-7731, www.baldwinpizza.com) is a find. An ace of an eatery when searching for a good meal served by friendly people. Enter Dhrupa Patel, our server during our Saturday evening post-Mass dinner. She was cordial, patient, and extremely thoughtful. For example, we ordered pizza, and when she brought us our paper plates, she offered to bring us regular silverware if needed, saying that plastic forks and knives don't cut pizza very well on paper plates. True. Past experience confirms this. We started our visit with an order of zucchini sticks ($5.95 ) and then enjoyed a pizza of half broccoli rabe and half plain ($14.50). Both were well prepared. Baldwin Pizzeria, which offers a variety of sandwich, salad, and entree specials, is also a BYOB. A great bottle of white wine would certainly complement the above pie, yes? So, as always, a big thank you to Mike, Dhrupa, and the entire Baldwin Pizzeria team. Located conveniently right off of Route 46 in Baldwin Plaza, with plenty of free parking, it's a convenient way to dine.
